Human Rights Day Conference

Description: Human Rights Day is globally recognized on December 10th every year. It’s a day to remind us all about equality and when the United Nations General adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. A Human Rights Conference was held by the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo to commemorate this important day, inviting key community stakeholders to participate. Many were in attendance at MacDonald Island Park, including Mayor Don Scott, to show their support as well as provide information and promote awareness to guests about their organizations.
