Fuse 2017

Description: Gizmos, gadgets and robots came to life at Westwood High School Fort McMurray during Fuse 2017, when students showcased their technological talents for all to see. The open house promoted technology, engineering, and mathematics through a variety of mediums including legos, 3D printing, computers and more. These tech-savvy students had numerous displays setup throughout the atrium to teach onlookers the ins and outs of whatever technology they were working with, some of which included robotics, how to use green screens, and microscopes that showed cell division in normal cells and cancerous cells, to name a few. Off to the other wing of the school, students demonstrated virtual reality where those interested got to try out some VR goggles and travel to another land.
